The Club made its presentation of the 2013 Go Ride/Summer
Series awards last night.
It was fantastic to see so many riders at the track, &
thanks to British Cycling awards were given to the top 5 riders in each class.
For a list of rider rankings please click here.An end of series parents race was run too. Everyone made it round the track in one piece, & few wheels even left the ground. Mark Dorrell took the win ahead of a hard charging Brian Taylor in second. Euan Goodman couldn’t quite emulate his glory days of racing but did manage to snag third ahead of a handicapped Lee Matthews. Paula Gladwell took a moral victory by being the first (& only) lady across the line.

Thanks again to all riders & parents who helped to make the series a great success, hopefully we can make 2014 even better still.
Don’t forget this Sunday’s final regional race at Ipswich.
Registration closes at 11.30. Get to Landseer Park early to grab some practice
& sample the atmosphere.
The club will be at the track on Saturday morning (0900-noon) to carry out final preparations. Keen volunteers will be more than welcomed as we look to roll, sweep & de-weed the surface.
