Unfortunately the summer nights are drawing in and our 2018 Go Ride Summer Series is over.
There's been some great racing this year with many new riders & some familiar old faces too!
Hopefully many of those who competed every other Tuesday evening through the summer will be able to make it to the Presentation Evening this Tuesday 4th September.
Awards will be given to all participants of the series and the club will begin the presentation at 7pm at our Landseer Park track.
Hope to see you there!

Go Ride Winter Series Rnd 5 25.03.18

That's a wrap! The fifth and final round of the clubs Go Ride Winter Series took place in great conditions. The track rode really well despite the recent poor weather, and thanks to the clubs hard working volunteers.
Well done to all the riders who took part today, and at the other rounds of the series.
Now that the clocks have sprung forward we can look ahead to some Tuesday evening club sessions with our Go Ride Summer Series starting on Tuesday 24th April.

Ipswich Winter Regional 11.02.18

Just a few pictures of what proved to be a great days Winter Regional racing at Ipswich today.
Unfortunately the track suffered from some extremely heavy rainfall in the 18 hours leading up to the event. Although there was no standing water the clay sub surface didn’t allow moisture to drain, turning the surface into a gloopy porridge.
It wasn’t enough to stop racing, and although the strong wind literally stopped riders in their tracks it did help to dry the track by the finals!
Seriously thank you to everyone who came and took part. There was some very close racing in the end. In an era where people are complaining that the MX has been homogenized out of BMX with cookie cutter tracks and an over use of tarmac today was definitely a through back to times gone by!
Thank you also to the many volunteers who helped put on the meeting; we couldn’t have done it without you!
The final round of BMX East’s Winter Series is on Sunday 18th March at Norwich. The next race at Landseer Park is the last round of Ipswich BMX Club’s Winter Series on Sunday 25th March. See you there.

Winter Seris Round 4 14.01.18

The fourth round of our Go Ride Winter Series saw some great racing across the classes. Hopefully the action made up for having to cancel round three due to the recent bad weather.
It was great to see so many club riders out early in the new year, & some new faces too.
Despite the wet weather leading up to the race the track held up well.
The next race at Landseer Park is the fifth round of the East Anglia Winter Series on Sunday 11th February. Check out bmxeast.com for more info on that series.
The club will be doing some track maintenance on the morninngs of Saturday 3rd & 10th of February in preparation for that event. Willing volunteers sought - Free tea on tap for the workers!
See you all trackside soon...
