Track work & Ipswich Winter Regional

Three important dates for your diaries.
The club requires enthusiastic volunteers to prep our Landseer Park track for our forthcoming Winter Regional race.
We hope to put in a few hours shovel work on the Saturdays of October 11th & 24th from 9am. If you can help in any way large or small please pop by. Shovels, rakes & barrows would be especially handy on the day.
Our 2015/16 BMX East Winter Regional is scheduled for Sunday October 25th. Registration closes at 11.30am on the day with classes for all. Pre registration will also be available online on the British Cycling website.
Racing should start around 12.15pm & we hope to have a spooky theme for the meeting as it's so close to Halloween!
The race will also incorporate the EA Summer Series 2015 trophy presentation, giving you even more reason to attend what we hope will be a great days racing.

2015 British Champs round up & EA Regional Champs to come

Well done to the Ipswich riders who competed in this years Brits last weekend. No 01 plates to bring back to Ipswich this year, but some close calls from John Lillingstone & Shaun Andrews who both made the podium in their respective classes.
Congratulations to John also for taking the National Champion title in 30-39 cruiser, not losing a single lap along the way!

Although the summer BMX season is almost at an end there’s still some great racing opportunities to be had.
On Sunday September 13th Braintree BMX Club hosts the East Anglian Championships where regional titles are awarded to both individual riders & clubs.
It would be fantastic to see as many Ipswich riders as possible attend this event. A direct link with event details & pre-registration can be found here: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/136871/BMX-East-Open-Championships-2015
Dates & venues for the EA winter series will also be announced soon.
Tuesday evening practice sessions will continue at Landseer Park whilst the light & weather allows.
See you on the gate soon!
