Forthcoming activities

Despite the recent snow, (which helped make the clubs post Xmas party/get together that extra bit special - See photo below) coaching/training scheduled for this Sunday 27th January is expected to go ahead. The usual winter venue (Clifford Road Primary School) @ 1.15pm.

 

This weekends session will be based around cornering techniques. Remember these are flat pedal activities, so please leave your SPD's at home.

 

One final date for your diary for club committee members: Tuesday 29th January is the date for the next committee meeting at the Rivers Social Club, Landseer Road.



Track work cancelled

Regrettably track work planned for this weekend (Saturday12th & Sunday 13th) has had to been cancelled.
The councils digger has been unable to make the track this week which would render any work we do by hand over the weekend futile.
Hopefully the digger can be arranged in the very near future in order we can remedy our drainage issues.

Thank you to all those who were prepared to help out this weekend, rest assured we'll be calling upon you again soon!

Don't forget Winter practice/Training this Sunday at Clifford Road Primary School. 1.15-2.30pm.


This months session will involve a lot of jumping around, so please remember your training shoes!

Braintree winter regional

Well done to all our riders who raced at Braintree's Winter Regional today.

The weather was kind & the racing fast.

A reminder to all club committee members: The next meeting is tomorrow, Monday 17th December at the Rivers Social club.7pm start.

 

Practice

Many thanks to Clifford Road Primary School for the use of their playground. It allowed us to ride our bikes when the rest of the country was seemingly under water.
All future winter practice/training sessions (final Sunday of every month) will now take place at the school unless otherwise stated.
Please bring trainers & flat pedals to these sessions.

Practice sessions will run from 1315hrs-1430hrs.

This months practice/training session on Sunday 25/11/12 will be held away from the track at Clifford Road Primary School as we cannot guarantee that the track will be fit for purpose due to the weather.
Please note the session will run from 1300-1430hrs.
