BMX East Regional Champs 21.09.14
Well done to all the Ipswich riders who took part at the BMX East regional championship at Royston on Sunday.
Congratulations to Abi Pike and Shaun Andrews who won their respective classes. We wish Robert Haynes a speedy recover too as he c...rashed out of a moto on his comeback, due to a bike mechanical. Hopefully the swellbow wasn’t anything too serious.
The club entered a team into the traditional end of season relay race which managed to make the final with absolutely no cheating (highly unusual in said race). So well done to you guys too
Tonight was the final official Tuesday evening practice session of the summer, but there’s plenty of BMX in the near future starting this Sunday with the BMX East Winter Series round 1 at Peterborough.

Rnd 2 Oct 19th Milton Keynes

Go Ride Summer Series Round 6 01.07.14
Report from final round of the club Go-ride series. Don't worry though we will still be racing every other week as weather allows. Next Race Tuesday 22 July
After a busy Weekend hosting the Ipswich round of the regional series 21 riders rocked up for tonights club race R6.
Racing was close in all classes sharing the wins in Formula 3 were Hayden Gadwell and Leon Harrisson with 2 wins each the re...sult was decided on countback to the last race Leon claiming the win Sebastian Hambling took consistent thirds all night to take the final podium spot. (Maybe we need a podium)
F2 had 12 riders after a bit of confusion including non planned moto rotation the points from motos were calculated and the finals sorted Thomas Jacobs took the B-final win. Friendly rivalry between Liam Rendell and Alfie cole meant there was a battle for 2nd Liam took the bragging rights Alfie took 3rd and Kyle Gladwell for the win.
F1 was just 3 riders but good racing none the less with a couple of pump races too Andy ashford was too honest in the pump race even slowing down as he had done half a pedal after slipping a pedal Ben Peters took two wins as did John Lillingstone, John taking the win on countback.
Hope you all had fun see you next week!
